THE POSITION

Keyera is currently seeking a Senior Advisor, Employee Experience. This role is responsible for guiding the development, implementation, and sustainment of Keyera’s employee value proposition and employee experience initiative to curate a purpose-driven employee experience in service of Keyera’s organizational strategy. This role focuses on fostering collaborative relationships across the business to Drive Value for Keyera’s stakeholders. Position can be based in Edmonton or Calgary.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver Keyera’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and Candidate Value Proposition (CVP) in partnership with HR and business stakeholders.
  • Support the integration of Keyera’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and culture in all aspects of talent attraction.
  • Partner with stakeholders on initiatives to showcase Keyera’s culture and (EVP) internally and externally.
  • Develop strategies to embed Keyera’s culture, purpose, and values across the business and across the employee journey.
  • Partner with stakeholders to maintain alignment of initiatives with Keyera’s culture.
  • Develop and oversee listening-informed employee experience and culture-related initiatives, including Keyera’s Onboarding and Recognition & Rewards programs.
  • Partner with Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to implement and promote culture and employee experience initiatives.
  • Support the development of employee experience, employee value proposition, and culture-related learning materials.
  • Partner with stakeholders to plan and execute Keyera’s experience and listening related events such as Safety Reconnect and Safety Symposium.
  • Facilitate employer recognition processes such as Top Employer.
  • Develop listening plans for the organization to enhance employee experience and guide business initiatives and priorities.
  • Facilitate strategic listening activities for the business and support the analysis and reporting of listening results.
  • Provide listening results to inform decision-making and guide resource investment into Keyera’s programs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders on strategic external listening initiatives and employer brand management.
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, and direction to direct team members.
  • Provide cultural leadership and guidance to the business.
  • Develop and manage project plans and participate in strategic planning for initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in employee engagement and experience and provide insight and recommendations for continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS   

The successful candidate will be collaborative, well-organized, energetic, and service oriented with the following qualifications:   

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, marketing, or a combination of relevant education and experience in a related field will be considered. Professional designations are an asset.
  • 12+ years of Human Resources experience with a strong working knowledge of employee experience and listening programs, employee and candidate value propositions, employer brand management, and change management.
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset, and knowledge of the midstream industry is desirable.   
  • People-oriented and results-driven, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, manage multiple priorities and tasks effectively and meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to produce compelling PowerPoint presentations.
  • Demonstrates high emotional and situational awareness and can navigate complex human challenges.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion, sensitivity, and professionalism.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and productively in a team environment, contributing to the effectiveness and reliability of the team.
