We're currently looking to expand our team, and are ready to welcome a new team player who is proactive, curious and passionate about their field—a Senior Back-End Programmer who loves to learn and grow in a stimulating and constantly evolving environment.
What You'll Do:
- Analyze functional and technical needs to develop effective solutions with the Wordpress CMS
- Plan, conceptualize and program sites in Wordpress
- Adhere to back-end department development standards, including time estimation
- Collaborate with the development team to design, implement and maintain backend features
- Participate in team meetings as well as scrum to strengthen team cohesion and alignment
- Ensure the performance, security and scalability of sites using Wordpress
- Contribute to continuous product improvement by implementing the latest Wordpress features and best practices
- Work closely with frontend teams to ensure smooth integration
- Carry out quality checks
- Create training tools and technical documents
- Use Git for code versioning and team collaboration
What You'll Need:
- Diploma in computer science, programming component or any other relevant training
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in backend web development
- Advanced mastery of the CMS Wordpress (plugin functionality design, use of ACF Block)
- Proficiency in Git for code versioning
- In-depth knowledge of advanced PHP concepts
- Experience in database design and management
- Knowledge of the Twig templating language preferred
- Curiosity: Passion for staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in web development
- Proactivity: Ability to anticipate needs and suggest improvements
- Collaborative autonomy: Ability to take initiatives while working closely with the team
- Rigor: Precision and thoroughness in the development, testing and documentation of the code
- Attention to detail: Particular attention paid to the aesthetic and functional aspects of the applications developed
- Proficiency in speaking and understanding French is required
