Job Description

About the Job:

We are looking for a Senior Platform Developer - Data/ML to join our team and drive the advancement of our Data Democratization Platform. In this role, you will design, implement, and manage our cloud-based data infrastructure and deployment pipelines on AWS. Combining expertise in data engineering and machine learning engineering, you will focus on building scalable pipelines, reusable components, and self-serve capabilities. Leveraging a robust AWS stack and innovative tools, you will empower domain teams to independently deliver impactful data and machine learning solutions. 

What You Will Do:

  • Design, build and maintain platform components to support data engineering workflows and machine learning pipelines, enabling scalability and self-service for domain teams;

  • Develop robust CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins for seamless integration and deployment of data and ML workflows;

  • Design and implement scalable real-time and batch data pipelines using AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift and Lake Formation;

  • Collaborate with domain teams to design domain-specific data products that are reliable, reusable, and aligned with Data Mesh principles;

  • Design and deploy ML pipelines using tools such as MLflow, Bedrock, and SageMaker to support end-to-end model development, training, and deployment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Data Engineering, ML Engineering or related field, including 3 years experience with Apache Spark for big data processing;
  • Deep understanding of Data Mesh principles, including domain-oriented data product ownership and federated governance as well as a deep understanding of Machine Learning lifecycle;

  • Proficiency in designing and building pipelines using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, Athena, SageMaker and Kinesis and strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially using Jenkins;

  • Extensive knowledge of Python programming language and its data manipulation libraries (Pyspark, Pandas and Numpy).
