Blackpoint Cyber is a provider of leading-edge cybersecurity threat hunting, detection, and response technology. Blackpoint was founded by former National Security Agency (NSA) cyber operations experts that applied their expertise to bring nation/state grade technologies to commercial customers around the world.
We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer who will operate in a Technical Lead role for our A.I. business unit. Candidates will directly support Blackpoint’s cyber security mission, helping to stop cyber-attacks, and protecting Blackpoint’s rapidly growing customer base.
Summary:
As Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building out Blackpoint Cyber’s data engineering processes and infrastructure to support development of our A.I. products and features. You will report directly to the Head of Artificial Intelligence.
Who You Are:

5+ years of experience in hands-on Data Engineering, with a track record of supporMng delivery of A.I. products and services into producMon.

Build, opMmize, and maintain data pipelines to power A.I., Machine Learning, and Data Science workflows and deployments.

Define and implement streamed and event-based ETL processes to enable hi-velocity ingesMon, transformaMon, and predicMon model serving at scale.

Define and implement data models and schemas, supporMng the requirements of A.I. product and feature development.

Contribute to architecture and design decisions according to data engineering best pracMces.

Configure, operate, and monitor the storage and processing technologies powering A.I. data
pipelines.

Build tools and define metrics and procedures for performance tesMng and maintaining
operaMonal oversight.

Implement data lifecycle best pracMces—for data versioning, parMMoning and indexing, & backup
and archival, funcMoning as system owner and data custodian of the operated infrastructure.

Collaborate closely with cross-funcMonal teams, including Engineering, Blackpoint Cyber’s
Security OperaMons Center (SOC), and our Adversary Pursuit Group (APG).
