Enable around-the-clock continuity in critical Zoom Events infrastructure. We are looking for a DevOps Engineer who has production knowledge and experience.
About the Team
Engineering operations are the driving force behind the seamless functionality and continuous availability that define the platform's unparalleled user experience. The team manages the Zoom Events platform. By employing robust operational and monitoring strategies, they guarantee the stability and security of Zoom's infrastructure, allowing millions of users worldwide to connect effortlessly.
Responsibilities

Designing and implementing zero-downtime solutions for highly available services (99.999%).

Developing and maintaining disaster recovery (DR) strategies across data centers in different regions.

Diagnosing and resolving complex production issues, including performance and functional challenges.

Collaborating with vendors, infrastructure teams, and engineering partners to enhance security and service availability.

Providing advanced troubleshooting support for outages across systems and Zoom backend services.

Administrating monitoring tools and infrastructure.

Developing and implementing CI/CD pipelines to streamline production deployments and configurations.

Participating in on-call shifts and incident management and work after hours/weekends for application releases/deployments
What we’re looking for
-
Have 6 - 7 years experience DevOps Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

Have analytical and troubleshooting skills
-
Have knowledge of CI/CD tools and integration

Experience with Kubernetes, particularly AWS EKS, Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Helm

Experience with MySQL, Redis in production deployment and troubleshooting
-
Be familiar with OCI and AWS technology including Cache, NoSQL, rational DynamodB and storage etc. and proxy server for web application

Experience with AWS, Azure, OCI, CloudFlare, GROOVY, Jenkins, BASH, PYTHON
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$98,900.00
Maximum:
$228,700.00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
