Position Overview
The Senior Director, Engagement Strategy will be a key leader in driving strategic engagement initiatives across BGB Group’s healthcare campaigns. This role will focus on developing and executing comprehensive engagement strategies that enhance client relationships and maximize audience impact. The Senior Director will oversee a team, collaborate with creative and client-facing teams, and ensure alignment between strategy and execution to deliver measurable results in line with clients' objectives.
Role Requirements:
- Lead the development of engagement strategies across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email marketing, and experiential campaigns.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, providing high-level strategic recommendations to increase audience engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with creative teams to design and implement campaigns that align with audience insights and brand messaging.
- Manage cross-functional teams to execute engagement strategies, ensuring effective collaboration and project delivery.
- Analyze audience data, performance metrics, and market trends to refine strategies and improve engagement outcomes.
- Lead the creation of content strategies and oversee content development that resonates with target audiences and drives action.
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in digital marketing, audience behavior, and engagement technologies.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engagement strategy team.
- Ensure all engagement strategies adhere to healthcare industry standards and regulatory guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in engagement strategy, CX strategy, or omnichannel/digital marketing and 2+ years in healthcare or pharmaceutical environments, preferably at an advertising agency
- Strong portfolio demonstrating successful engagement campaigns, with expertise in audience segmentation, data analysis, and digital marketing tactics.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams, driving results through innovative strategies.
- Deep understanding of healthcare marketing regulations, digital channels, and engagement best practices.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field preferred.
Salary Range: $185,000-$205,000 CAD
The salary range provided represents what a potential hire may expect to earn in this role at BGB. Actual salary decisions will be influenced by several factors that we use to determine overall fit, including experience (both direct and indirect), education, training, demonstrated qualifications, and organizational need. Salary is only one component of the total rewards package offered at BGB Group.
