Position Purpose:
Leads the design, implementation, and communication of enterprise business continuity and disaster recovery plans and processes that ensure the security and integrity of company data, databases, information systems, and technology.
Conducts enterprise risk analysis to identify critical operations and systems that are core to continued business operations in the event of a disruption. Monitors and tests the plans and backup systems.
Develops and deploys training, documentation, and communication of disaster procedures to the organization. Develops service level recovery standards and agreements with vendors.
Owns resilience-related data governance within the System of Record and CMDB, ensuring accuracy, standardization, and authoritative sources for continuity and recovery data
Leads and maintains a comprehensive IT disaster recovery (DR) program
Architects, designs, and governs implementation testing of DR strategies
Completes IT DR recovery procedures and work with technical teams to co-create IT DR recovery strategies, architectures and procedures
Conducts IT DR awareness sessions. and drives for improvement of resilience practices
Manages the IT DR calendar, incorporating the activities designed to monitor the effectiveness of the IT DR framework
Collaborates with business and technology leaders and external business partners for the purpose of planning, directing, controlling, and maintaining an effective testing plan
Provides architectural leadership in assessing, and communicating recovery environment requirements
Leads risk mitigation processes, and facilitate resource contingency planning sessions with business teams
Leads strategic discussions with vendors and suppliers. Develop, manage, execute contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers
Performs other duties as assigned

Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science) and Requires 4 – 6 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Experience with traditional infrastructure and cloud technologies and architecture. required.
Experience with resilient systems design principals. required.
Knowledge of development toolset to design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software required.
Experience with administration, configuration, implementation of application systems or software in the healthcare domain preferred.
Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired.
Experience with Business Continuity Planning; Disaster Recovery
Experience rationalizing, modeling, and governing large sets of structured data; defining authoritative sources, data quality controls, and ownership models.
Ability to create and maintain standardized resilience taxonomies, metadata models, and reference data aligned across technology and business teams.
Technical and business service mapping, Business Impact Analysis (BIA), and understanding of upstream/downstream dependencies.
Working knowledge of industry frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST, FFIEC, cloud resilience best practices).
Translating regulatory and risk requirements into technical controls, standards, and measurable outcomes.
Experience with resilience, continuity, CMDB, or GRC tools and platforms used to support Systems of Record.
