About the Role

Northbridge Financial is looking for a Senior External Communications Specialist to shape how our brands show up in the world. You’ll craft compelling content, engage with media, and amplify our voice across multiple platforms. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love connecting strategy with impact, this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Draft press releases and manage media inquiries
  • Build proactive media outreach strategies and pitch stories
  • Manage relationships with PR agency partners and media contacts
  • Support subject matter experts with talking points and media training
  • Copywrite and proofread external communications (blogs, ads, social, web, etc.)
  • Lead creation of our yearly Public Accountability Statement
  • Report on brand visibility and content effectiveness
  • Create social videos for NBFC brands

What You Bring

  • Post-secondary education in communications, PR, or marketing
  • 5+ years of external communications experience (B2B or B2C)
  • Strong media relations and PR agency management experience
  • Proven content marketing and campaign development skills
  • Excellent writing, project management, and interpersonal abilities
  • Crisis communication experience an asset; French proficiency a plus
