Lazer Crypto is a specialized team within Lazer, comprising more than 20 web3 native engineers dedicated to building modern dApps and web3 solutions. This team helps founders and growing teams accelerate their product launches across various blockchain ecosystems. Our notable web3 clients include Berachain, Base, Privy, Polymarket, Uniswap, Alchemy, and others. Our team is distributed across North America, combining deep technical expertise with a commitment to being kind, supportive collaborators who build exceptional products.
Who You Are:5-8 years in software development with at least 2 years dedicated to blockchain and crypto projects preferred
Proven experience developing and deploying scalable systems using Rust, particularly within the crypto industry
Experience with Rust-specific Web3 tooling such as reth, ethers, and Solana programming
Strong proficiency in building robust infrastructures that support scalable crypto use cases such as DeFi, infrastructure, protocols, and smart contracts
Experience with indexing and storing blockchain data for applications
Experience building production Rust servers with Tokio, async programming, and web frameworks like Axum or Warp is a plus
Passion for crypto and a commitment to creating world-class decentralized application experiences
Understanding that infrastructure serves real users, with dedication to enhancing end-user experiences through thoughtful design and implementation
Strong knowledge of distributed systems, peer-to-peer networking, and cryptographic principles used in blockchain development
Experience working with major cloud providers such as AWS and Google Cloud, leveraging cloud storage and containerization to build scalable and resilient architectures
Deep understanding of modern DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, and monitoring tools
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced consulting environment, enjoys solving complex technical challenges, and loves building impactful real-world applications
Self-sufficient, proactive, and values autonomy
Design, develop, and deploy world-class blockchain infrastructure and applications for clients across DeFi, protocols, gaming, and infrastructure projects
Work across EVM and SVM ecosystems, ensuring seamless and performant blockchain interactions at scale
Optimize blockchain infrastructure for security, reliability, and efficiency, integrating smart contracts, indexing solutions, and decentralized storage
Collaborate with top-tier crypto teams, guiding them from concept to launch with deep technical expertise in Rust and blockchain architecture
Lead architecture decisions for backend and infrastructure, ensuring scalability, resilience, and high-performance execution in distributed environments
Stay on the cutting edge of blockchain and cloud infrastructure trends, experimenting with new technologies and bringing innovative solutions to clients
