About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Full Stack Software Developer who thrives on technical leadership and takes full ownership of complex projects from concept to production. You’ll design and deliver reliable, scalable software for global e-commerce brands, collaborating closely with a cross-functional team. Our developers leverage AI tools and modern workflows to accelerate delivery, streamline development, and guide high volumes of generated code toward high-quality, maintainable outcomes.

What you’ll do
- Lead the design and implementation of systems and APIs that scale to meet high-traffic demands.
- Collaborate with Product and Design teams to deliver solutions that create meaningful value for our merchants.
- Mentor and guide team members, reviewing code and providing feedback to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate development, streamline workflows, and maintain consistent code quality.
- Take ownership of complex development tasks, including unit tests, merge requests, and production releases.
- Drive all stages of the development lifecycle, from planning and estimations to retrospectives and post-launch improvements.
- Shape discussions around user stories, requirements, and technical approaches, bringing senior-level insight to decisions.
- Partner with teammates to efficiently resolve incidents, bugs, and performance issues.
- Maintain and evolve product documentation to ensure it remains accurate, actionable, and relevant.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years of development experience, ideally within SaaS, e-commerce, or Shopify ecosystems.
- Strong proficiency in PHP, with hands-on experience using the Laravel framework.
- Strong proficiency in Go, including its core libraries and syntax.
- Experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with hands-on experience in React or similar modern front-end frameworks.
- Deep understanding of REST and GraphQL APIs, including integrations with Shopify’s Admin and Storefront APIs.
- Comfortable with Git, modern development workflows, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to leverage AI tools to accelerate development, streamline workflows, and maintain consistent, high-quality code.
Bonus Experience
- Experience with Liquid (theme integrations), Shopify Functions and Shopify Flow integrations.
- Familiarity with Shopify Polaris and App Bridge for building embedded app experiences.
