Your mission
Our mission is to evolve Frontify’s platform capabilities and deliver useful everyday tools to our customers. We are innovating and working on creative solutions to help our customers manage their Frontify organizations and resources more efficiently.
You’ll work with our Search & AI team and play a critical role in elevating our team's performance and capabilities. With your experience in fullstack development, you will handle new challenges independently, from initial discovery, architecture and delivery. You will be in the driver’s seat for various projects and initiatives, mentoring junior team members and driving technical excellence. Your responsibilities
- You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and challenges, translating insights into product improvements.
- You will deliver solutions end to end (frontend changes, backend changes, collaboration with PM and PD)
- You will become an expert in developing AI-driven interfaces, spanning conversational and other human-in-the-loop systems.
- You will be a key player in elevating the Brand Assistant experience in Frontify.
Your story
- You can work remotely from anywhere in Switzerland or join us on-site in our St. Gallen office, with the flexibility to choose your best work environment.
- You’re an expert with PHP8+, React, Typescript and ideally have experience with OpenSearch, GraphQL, REST, MySQL, Docker and AWS.
- On the frontend side, you know React and TypeScript, and are experienced with the broader React ecosystem, including state management libraries, server-side rendering, component-driven architecture, and performance optimizations.
- You're good at architecting/designing and can write change resilient code.
- You fend off the dreaded 'big ball of mud' by keeping coupling low, cohesion high, and SOLID principles close at heart.
- You're proficient in writing Unit Tests and are familiar with test-driven development (TDD) and domain-driven design (DDD).
- You can work in a dynamic environment and collaborate with people of different backgrounds from different product teams.
- You can create a majority when needed, inspire others and drive good decisions.
- You are driven by outcomes and you are able to find solutions in uncertain situations.
- You are curious and have an experimental mindset.
- You speak English fluently.
