The Senior HR Business Partner will support and execute the business’s people strategy, focusing on enhancing the employee experience through effective work environments, employee relations, retention, and operational processes. Key responsibilities include developing trust, commitment, and buy-in with leaders in our business units, ensuring exceptional relationships with all stakeholders.
In this role, you will provide consulting and coaching to departmental leaders supporting the business’s vision, mission, and overall objectives. Success in this position requires balancing the roles of associate champion, leadership partner, and change agent.
You must understand the business strategy and provide dynamic solutions using your experience, data analysis, and organizational agility to guide decision-making.
StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located in Canada for this position. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract position.
What You'll Be Doing:- Provides business partnerships to the VP level of our org, and executes HR business strategies to drive key business results; guide on People matters, partnering with subject-matter experts to develop needed solutions across departments.
- Implements and delivers solutions and interventions that address retention, change management, employee engagement, and leadership development, partnering with subject-matter experts as appropriate.
- Investigate and resolve complex employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.
- Provide coaching to managers and employees on People policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, staying updated on changes and best practices.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders and teams, serving as a strategic partner on all People-related topics.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key business results through effective HR strategies.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and well-being across departments.
- Conduct surveys, analyze data, and provide insights to drive continuous improvement in employee experience.
- Minimum of 4-6 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 4 years in a business partner or similar strategic role.
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) is preferred
- Proficiency in developing and executing HR initiatives that drive organizational performance.
- Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and experience managing complex employee relations issues.
- Strong coaching and consulting skills to guide and develop managers and leaders.
- Proven ability to influence and build trust with senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Ability to navigate and manage within a complex and fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB).
The compensation range listed for this role reflects the expected base salary for candidates located in Ontario, Canada. It is informed by market data and the approved budget for this position. StackAdapt maintains different compensation ranges for roles across other countries and regions, and final offers will be aligned to the candidate’s current location.
This range represents base salary only. Depending on the role, candidates may also be eligible for additional compensation such as annual bonuses, commissions, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits package.
