Empowering people, culture, and performance in lockstep with your leaders.

Are you resilient, flexible, open-minded, and passionate about making a real difference? If so, you are the person we need. As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will be the trusted advisor to senior leaders within your business units, supporting client-facing teams across Canada, the United States, Europe, and Australia. Your role will be crucial in strengthening organizational effectiveness and fostering a high-performance culture.

In this position, you will tackle the challenges that come with an organization that is regularly transforming to meet the ever-evolving needs of the dynamic AI technology market. Most importantly, you will find true satisfaction in the autonomy we offer and in the tangible impact of your work.

As one of our Senior Human Resources Business Partner, you will:
  • Develop deep, trusting partnerships with Senior leadership in our client-facing organizations, providing coaching and sound advice.
  • Take full ownership of talent management for your business unit - including performance assessment, identifying top talent, career pathing, succession planning and effective performance management.
  • Leverage data to monitor and diagnose problems at their root. Conduct hands-on analyses when necessary. Take responsibility for managing turnover.
  • Represent your Business Units’ interests and concerns when collaborating with corporate HR on transformational, cross-departmental projects. You will lead the implementation of corporate programs, policies and initiatives with a focus on change management within your client group.
  • Collaborate with Senior Leaders, FP&A and Recruitment to manage headcounts.
  • Collaborate with our HR Shared Services team and our HR systems team on employee files and in ensuring Workday accurately reflects your organization.
Here is what will qualify you for the role:
  • You have a proven track record as a senior HR professional, consistently adding value as a trusted business partner.
  • Navigating complex challenges and driving impactful solutions comes naturally to you.
  • Building deep, trusting relationships with senior leadership is one of your core strengths. Your sound judgment and ability to diagnose and address issues effectively are invaluable assets.
  • You are a skilled, tactful communicator in both English and French, which is crucial for engaging with your customer groups across North America and Europe.
What would make you stand out:
  • Prior experience working with client-facing teams, such as Customer Success, Professional Services or Sales. You cultivate a crisp understanding of the business’ strategic priorities and levers.
  • You have a deep well of resilience and bring experience from working in fast-paced technology organizations where change is the only certainty.
  • Experience working with teams in the US is a strong advantage. Additionally, experience in Europe and Australia will make you an even more compelling candidate.
  • You're not just looking to apply existing frameworks - you’re eager to innovate and build from the ground up, and you enjoy rolling up your sleeves and getting hands on.

Do you think you can bring this role to life? Or add your own color? You don’t need to check every single box; passion goes a long way and we appreciate that skillsets are transferable.

What you need to know about the Calgary Tech Scene

Employees can spend up to one-third of their life at work, so choosing the right company is crucial, not just for the job itself but for the company culture as well. While startups often offer dynamic culture and growth opportunities, large corporations provide benefits like career development and networking, especially appealing to recent graduates. Fortunately, Calgary stands out as a hub for both, recognized as one of Startup Genome's Top 100 Emerging Ecosystems, while also playing host to a number of multinational enterprises. In Calgary, job seekers can find a wide range of opportunities.
