The impact of the IT Program Manager to Coupa:

 

The IT Program Manager will be responsible for managing complex IT programs and projects across the organization. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, developing and executing strategic plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and delivering technology solutions with a focus on the intended business value. The ideal candidate will have a proven background in delivering complex IT program in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT programs from initiation through delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within the intended scope and within budget
  • Develop and maintain program plans, including resource allocation, timelines, cross project dependencies and risk management strategies
  •  Partner with IT Business Partners and key stakeholders, including senior leadership, to ensure the successful delivery of key initiatives
  •  Facilitate regular program and project status meetings, providing updates on progress, risks, and issues
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and address any concerns or changes in scope effectively
  •  Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the successful delivery of programs and projects
  •  Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring cost control and financial accountability
  • Evaluate program and project performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed
  • Promote Coupa practices and methodologies in IT program management and apply a continuous improvement mindset to the development of a mature project management discipline within Coupa

What You Will Bring to Coupa:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in IT program and project management, with a proven track record of managing large, complex programs and leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., JIRA, Smartsheet, Asana)
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and emerging technologies
  • Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and make informed decisions
  • PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master), or equivalent certification preferred

The estimated pay range for this role is as follows:


•Based in Bay Area, California: $139,400 - $164,000

•Based in California: $130,900 - 154,000

•Based in Colorado: $115,175 - $135,500

•Based in New Jersey: $130,900 - $154,000

•Based in New York: $130,900 - $154,000

•Based in Washington: $121,975 - $143,500


The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location within the state.
