Job Description – D06 Senior Group Tax Manager About us Dyson is growing fast, and our ambition is huge – more categories, more locations, and more people. Our Tax team manages and balances complex tax challenges across our global business. The Group Tax function is focused on supporting all areas of the business with growth plans and day-to-day operations, along with meeting our tax compliance obligations. About the role We are looking for an experienced individual to oversee Group-wide tax matters. Your responsibilities will include: o Managing the preparation and review of entity tax provisions and supporting analysis, ensuring accurate reporting within the Group’s consolidated financial statements. o Ownership of the Group tax consolidation process and preparation of the tax disclosures for the Group’s consolidated financial statements. o Managing relationships with external auditors, coordinating responses to tax-related queries and ensuring the timely resolution of audit matters. o Preparing tax reporting and analysis for senior management and Board reporting purposes, including communicating complex tax matters and key tax risks to non-tax stakeholders. o Leading the forecasting and monitoring of the Group’s effective tax rate, working with finance teams across the business to gather data, challenge assumptions and assess tax impacts. o Managing the Group’s Pillar Two compliance and reporting obligations, coordinating with external advisors and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely preparation, review and submission of all required filings. o Monitoring developments in Pillar Two legislation and guidance, assessing the impact on the Group and overseeing the implementation of required changes. o Ownership of the Group’s Country-by-Country Reporting obligations, including compliance with both traditional and public CbCR requirements across relevant jurisdictions. o Driving continuous improvement of tax reporting processes, controls and governance frameworks to enhance compliance, reporting quality and operational efficiency. About you o Educated to degree level or equivalent, with an accounting and/or tax qualification. o Strong technical and operational tax accounting experience gained in-house or a combination of in-house and in-practice. Experience with Pillar 2 preferred. o An excellent verbal and written communicator. o Proven ability to build relationships across the business, lead people and manage multiple stakeholders. o Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, ever-changing environment.
