About the Job
The Senior Product Designer partners with product managers and engineers to define product strategies aligned with user needs and business goals. This role leads design execution using Vendasta’s Galaxy design system and Figma, leveraging AI design tools for prototyping, layout generation, and rapid iteration. Responsibilities include driving product discovery through data and research, simplifying interfaces to reduce complexity, and validating concepts with user testing. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior designers, contributing to evolving design processes, and promoting a data-informed approach across the team.
Your Impact
- Product Strategy & Design Leadership: Define product strategies and drive discovery through data and AI-assisted research tools to shape outcomes.
- Design Quality & Usability: Maintain high standards in design execution that support accessibility and intuitive use.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively across Product, Engineering, and POD teams to ensure design alignment and execution.
- User-Centered Outcomes: Demonstrate impact through validated, user-informed design decisions and usability metrics.
- Team Enablement: Support peer growth and junior team development through mentorship and feedback sessions.
- AI Tool Utilization: Enhance design efficiency and product value via the integration of AI frameworks and generative design practices.
What You Bring to the Table
- 5–7+ years in Product Design, ideally within SaaS or a tech-forward environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field preferred.
- Advanced ability to create compelling, accessible digital interfaces and high-fidelity visual designs.
- Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI-enhanced design tools.
- Skilled in UX research methodologies, information architecture, and prototyping.
- Working knowledge of personalization engines, generative design, and predictive UX testing.
- Ability to manage design initiatives from concept through execution.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to support design-to-dev handoff is preferred.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and verbal formats.
