Practice Better operates remote-first, hybrid optional. We ensure each member of our team is equipped with the necessary tools to perform effectively within the comfort of their own space. Position title: Senior Product Manager, Growth

Location: The candidate must be located in Canada. 

Reports to: VP, R&D

About the Role:

The Senior Product Manager, Growth will play a key role in driving product-led growth (PLG) strategies across Practice Better and That Clean Life. This individual will focus on data-driven experimentation, user acquisition, onboarding, retention, and monetization to accelerate growth. The ideal candidate is analytical, customer-focused, and experienced in leading cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable impact.

What You’ll Do:

Growth Product Strategy and Roadmap:

  • Develop and execute a growth-focused roadmap informed by data and experimentation.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization through growth product initiatives.
  • Leverage customer insights, market trends, and competitive research to drive and inform growth roadmap.

Experimentation, A/B Testing, and Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests to optimize conversion and engagement.
  • Utilize experimentation frameworks and analytics tools (e.g Amplitude) to quickly validate hypotheses, measure success, and iterate based on data insights.
  • Define and track growth KPIs, incorporating learnings into future strategies.

User Onboarding, Acquisition, and Retention:

  • Improve user onboarding experiences to reduce friction and enhance activation.
  • Implement growth loops and personalized engagement strategies to drive user retention.
  • Partner with design and engineering teams to enhance user journeys and optimize key flows, reducing drop-offs and time-to-value.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success to drive alignment on growth initiatives with business goals.
  • Support product-led growth (PLG) campaigns in collaboration with marketing teams using tools like Segment and Amplitude.
  • Engage with GTM teams to optimize conversion rates and improve customer acquisition efficiency.

Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor strategies, and user behavior to identify growth opportunities.
  • Conduct user research, customer interviews and data analysis to refine the growth roadmap.

Performance Analytics and Growth Metrics:

  • Define and track north star growth metrics, ensuring visibility across stakeholders.
  • Analyze funnel conversion rates, retention curves, and monetization metrics to uncover growth bottlenecks and opportunities.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to provide real-time insights into product performance and experiment results.

Pricing and Packaging:

  • Support pricing and packaging experiments to optimize revenue and customer lifetime value (LTV).
  • Collaborate with finance and marketing teams to refine pricing strategies based on data insights.

What you are:

  • 5-8+ years of experience in product management with a focus on growth, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Experience with A/B testing, growth analytics, and experimentation frameworks.
  • Strong analytical skills, with expertise in tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Looker, SQL.
  • Experience working in PLG-focused SaaS environments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.
  • Background in Vertical SaaS, Health & Wellness, or Healthcare Tech is a plus.

Key Outcomes & Success Metrics:

  1. High-Impact Experimentation & Learning Culture:
  • Run high-velocity growth experiments to optimize acquisition and retention.
  • Establish a rapid test-and-learn framework that informs product strategy.
  1. Customer Acquisition & Activation:
  • Improve activation and conversion metrics by 10-20% within the first year.
  • Optimize onboarding flows to reduce drop-off rates.
  1. Revenue Growth & Monetization:
  • Support pricing experiments to increase ARPU and LTV.
  • Experiment with feature gating and bundling to drive monetization.
  1. Cross-Functional Alignment:
  • Collaborate effectively with product, marketing, sales, and customer success teams.
  • Provide visibility into growth performance and drive alignment across teams.
