About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our growing team!
What you’ll do here:

  • Develop and maintain up-to-date project plans by identifying

  • Deliverables, by reckoning duration and costs and by participating in human resources designation for tasks

  • Develop and manage the detailed project schedule, budget, and project management plans

  • (e.g., requirements, scope, schedule, cost, communication, resource, risk, issue, change management, quality, etc.)

  • Follow and control the project evolution and communicate progress accomplished, in line with corporate policies and standards

  • Effectively facilitate meetings and create presentations relative to milestones, budget expenditures, issue resolution and project status

  • Conduct overall project/program reporting

  • Identify problematic situations, take care of them and take action

  • Manage project risks including contingency and critical path

  • Manage problems and risks factors with governance in place

  • Make sure an appropriate methodology is used during the lifecycle of the project

  • Make sure team has all tools available to do their job

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in Business Administration or any combination of equivalent education and experience

  • Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience

  • Experience and knowledge of procurement strategies and vendor management

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the automotive and related industries

  • Experience and knowledge of the property and casualty insurance industry

  • Clearly demonstrated strategic vision

  • Good communication skills and the ability to influence others and manage change

  • Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

  • Can manage multiple projects simultaneously

  • Effective and clear written and oral communication skills

  • Influence and negotiation

  • Can build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of management and staff Influence and negotiation to gain support and achieve consensus

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence

  • Motivation and persuasion skills

  • Can work effectively both independently and in team environments

  • Bilingualism required (French and English)] Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country

  • For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country

  • No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada
