The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the end to end delivery of complex, cross-functional product development projects. This role ensures projects are executed on time, within scope and budget, and meet quality and stakeholder expectations. At the Senior level, this role independently manages multiple initiatives, resolves delivery risks, partners closely with engineering and business leaders, and provides mentorship and guidance to less experienced project managers.

  • Lead the end to end development lifecycle of complex technology projects, from initiation through delivery and close out
  • Coordinate cross functional teams including hardware, firmware, software, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
  • Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control throughout the project lifecycle
  • Drive accountability across teams to ensure milestones and deliverables are met
  • Provide clear, regular status reporting to stakeholders and leadership, including risks and mitigation plans
  • Support manufacturing readiness, supply chain coordination, and build activities as required
  • Help define improved Project Management processes, tools, and standards
  • Mentor and support junior project managers and project coordinators

Requirements
  • Completed related training in project management, PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum 7 years of demonstrated ownership of complex projects
  • Strong understanding of project management fundamentals, including planning, scheduling, risk management, budgeting, and reporting
  • Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams in a product development or embedded technology environment
  • Experience with electronics and/or hardware projects is considered an asset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to provide clarity and direction in environments with high ambiguity and uncertainty
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Experience using project management tools such as MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA or equivalent
