  • Strong understanding of RESTful services, auth flows, headers, status codes, and payload validation.
  • Strong experience with Docker and containerized test setups.
  • Experience reading logs and debugging backend systems.
  • Solid manual QA background and exploratory testing experience for service-level validation.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum and using tools like JIRA, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic proficiency in reading code (e.g., Java, C#, JavaScript) to assist in triage and test alignment.

Bonus Experience

  • Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
  • Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter, k6, or Locust.

  • Experience testing distributed or edge-deployed systems (POS terminals, IoT devices, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
  • Domain expertise in restaurant/POS systems and workflows.

The Type of Team Player We Need

  • A technical QA engineer who enjoys getting hands-on with code, APIs, and infrastructure.
  • Passionate about quality and delivering scalable, robust services.
  • Curious and self-driven: eager to experiment and iterate to find effective solutions.
  • Strong communicator who can articulate quality risks and collaborate across teams.
