The Senior Quality Engineer will develop quality control plans, conduct audits, perform inspections, and review data for quality assurance in manufacturing.

We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to support quality audits. This could be the manufacturing of servers, network connections, generators, cameras, cooling units, and parts, or components of a UPS system. This is a 6 month-long contract working first shift full-time at various suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Quality Control Plan to ensure products meet standards, with clear checks, tests, and corrective actions.
- Create clear Work Instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guide consistent, accurate work.
- Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify potential problems, assess risks, and develop solutions before production.
- Perform end-of-line inspections to verify products meet all quality and safety criteria before shipment.
- Review and analyze large volumes of data quickly and accurately, and present in a clear manner
- Communicate both written and verbal to senior leadership
- Review process and available data to support root cause analysis (RCA) and development of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering specialty and 8 years relevant experience or 15+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiarity with quality management system (QMS)
- Lean Six Sigma knowledge/ certification
- Knowledge of ISO9001standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in one or more areas: electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, welding/fabrication, mechanical assembly, wiring and labeling, bolt/weld checks, electrical or busway connections, NETA standards, termination connections, control plans, or PFMEAs.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Gmail, etc.).
