Senior Scrum Master
We are looking for a highly motivated Senior (Sr.) Scrum Master Consultant to join our team. You will provide your expertise to support clients in transforming their business cultures to be agile. As a Sr. Scrum Master Consultant, you will provide coaching and mentorship to teams and stakeholders, actively optimizing workflows to enhance delivery speed and quality while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Consult and coach clients to create Agile teams, learn and follow Agile methodologies and practices.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, such as Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Facilitate verbal, written and visual communication and collaboration among squads, stakeholders and leadership.
- Identify and remove impediments that are preventing the team from accomplishing deliverables.
- Ensure that the team is working towards the agreed goals and objectives.
- Work with the Product Owner to prioritize the backlog and ensure that it is aligned with business objectives.
- Cultivate a high-performance environment by leveraging data-driven insights and automation to guide the team in optimizing their processes and practices.
- Collaborate with other Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to share best practices and improve overall Agile performance.
- Communicate the status and progress of the team to senior management.
- Ensure transparency into the team’s work by tracking and reporting on metrics such as lead time, cycle time, error rate, SLA adherence, progress, and team velocity, among others.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM).
- At least 4 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and practices, such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and XP.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A confident and engaging communicator capable of facilitating meetings and ceremonies.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
