The Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software solutions through advanced testing strategies, automation frameworks, and continuous delivery practices. This position requires strong expertise in designing and implementing scalable test automation systems, integrating quality into CI/CD pipelines, and driving innovation in testing methodologies. The Senior SDET will collaborate closely with development, QA, and operations teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently.
Deliverables
- Test Automation: Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for unit, integration, API, performance, and security tests.
- CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Environment Management: Manage and optimize test and staging environments to ensure stability and alignment with production.
- Innovation: Evaluate and implement new testing tools and methodologies to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Collaboration: Work with teams to embed quality into the development process. Mentor junior engineers on automation best practices.
- Defect Management: Track and resolve defects, ensuring fast identification and resolution before production.
About You
- Strong experience with TypeScript or other modern programming languages.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services for testing cloud-based applications.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
- Proven track record in test environment management, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience mentoring junior team members in automation and quality practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to improve testing processes.
Nice to Have
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of AI-driven testing.
