Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deliver enhancements, new features, and product add-ons for the Oracle Fusion payment integration product.
  • Build and maintain robust integrations between Oracle Fusion Cloud and external payment gateways, banks, financial institutions, and third-party systems using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, ADFDI, and other Oracle integration patterns.
  • Extend and customize Oracle Fusion payment-related functionality (Payments, Cash Management, Payables, Receivables) while adhering to Oracle best practices and upgrade-safe development standards.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements, translate them into technical designs, and implement scalable solutions.
  • Write high-quality, well-documented code and configuration; perform unit, integration, and regression testing.
  • Collaborate with product management, architects, QA, and other engineering teams to define roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver on release cycles.
  • Troubleshoot complex integration and payment processing issues in development, test, and production environments.
  • Contribute to technical design reviews, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development processes and standards.
  • Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, performance, and scalability requirements for enterprise payment processing.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 4+ years working on Oracle Fusion / Oracle Cloud Applications (ERP Financials preferred).
  • Solid proficiency in one or more of: Java, PL/SQL, Groovy, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Oracle ADF or Visual Builder.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing and enhancing Oracle Fusion applications, including customizations, extensions, and product add-ons.
  • Deep knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST and SOAP web services, Oracle Fusion APIs, FBDI, and integration patterns.
  • Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services relevant to application and integration development.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing concepts, security (PCI considerations), error handling, reconciliation, and audit requirements.
  • Experience specifically with Oracle Fusion Payments, Cash Management, Accounts Payable, or Accounts Receivable modules.
  • Prior work on payment gateway integrations (e.g., banks, card networks, fintech providers) or ISO 20022 / electronic payment formats.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Visual Builder, Application Composer, or page personalization/extensions.
  • Oracle Cloud certifications (Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications, Oracle Integration Cloud, or related) are a plus.
