Responsibilities:
- Analyze information needs, conferring with users, studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Collaborate cross-functionally within the organization to design solutions for complex business problems.
- Develop information systems by designing, developing, testing and implementing software solutions.
- Document and demonstrate solutions by developing flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, and presentations.
- Research and resolve production support issues as they occur.
- Collaborate with team members for recommendations on process improvement.
- Mentor less experienced developers in best practices, troubleshooting techniques, and development patterns.
- Accomplish engineering and organization goals by completing related tasks as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory personnel.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent education experience.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Extensive experience in modern software development practices to draw upon for solving complex problems.
- Experience and ability to work in an agile/SAFe environment.
- Strong analytical skills to perform requirements analysis and software design.
- Ability to perform all tasks associated with the SDLC.
- Excellent communication, presentation, influencing, and reasoning skills.
- Multi-tasking skills with the ability to work in a team environment.
- Capable of building strong relationships with colleagues and key individuals within the business.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply new technologies.
- The drive to succeed in a fast-paced environment that supports many applications and end-users.
