This is a non-union positionThe Sr Specialist will be collaborating closely with the Director, Projects Challenge Team, this role provides sophisticated analytics and technical oversight to validate, prioritize, and sustain opportunities across a $5–9B annual capital projects portfolio. You will quantify value, support enterprise optimization decisions, and ensure analytical rigor, consistency, and sustainment of project improvements.

What You Will Do
Evaluate, validate, and refine project opportunities using advanced analytical methods to inform high‑impact business and investment decisions.
Develop and deliver high‑quality technical assessments, financial models, and data‑driven insights quantifying cost savings, risks, and operational impacts.
Govern reporting, documentation, and data management standards to ensure consistency, accuracy, and transparency across the Projects Challenge Team portfolio.
Integrate technical, financial, and operational considerations to support optimized project scope recommendations for senior leaders and executives.
Monitor external benchmarks, industry trends, and best practices, translating insights into actionable opportunities and sustained enterprise value.
Who You Are
You bring a university degree (or equivalent construction/operational experience) with 7- 10 years of progressively responsible experience combining deep technical, project, and eye for business.
You have deep expertise with data and analytics tools, including SharePoint, Power BI, and Microsoft Office, and a passion for emerging technologies such as AI.
You understand the energy industry, including project delivery practices, cost drivers, and competitive and regulatory landscapes.
You are a strong influencer and communicator, able to translate complex technical concepts into clear, practical insights for diverse participants.
You excel in ambiguous, fast‑paced environments, balancing multiple priorities while building positive relationships across business units and leadership levels.
