Contractor, InBeat Agency | Dedicated Account: Global CPG Energy Brand
Location: Remote — Canada (Quebec preferred); bilingual in English & French strongly preferred

About the Role

InBeat is hiring a Shopify Plus Developer to support and maintain the eCommerce presence of a major new CPG energy brand, backed by one of the world’s largest corporations. You will be fully dedicated to this flagship client, responsible for ensuring the website remains reliable, scalable, and optimized as the brand grows.

The Shopify store has been built and launched by an agency. Your role will be to take ownership of the platform: handling ongoing support, integrations, and feature development, while ensuring the site evolves alongside business needs. This is a high-visibility, fast-moving environment where technical excellence and responsiveness are critical.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the brand’s Shopify Plus store, ensuring uptime, performance, and reliability.

  • Implement new features, functionality, and integrations based on evolving business and marketing requirements.

  • Collaborate with brand, marketing, and customer support teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Manage third-party app integrations and custom code modifications.

  • Conduct regular QA testing, bug fixes, and site optimizations.

  • Ensure the store is set up for scalability, security, and compliance as the brand expands.

  • Stay on top of Shopify Plus updates, apps, and ecosystem trends to recommend improvements.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3–5+ years of Shopify Plus development experience, ideally with consumer/CPG or high-volume eCommerce brands.

  • Proven ability to maintain and iterate on existing Shopify builds, not just net-new development.

  • Strong skills in Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Shopify APIs.

  • Experience with Shopify apps, third-party integrations, and custom feature development.

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance optimization abilities.

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

  • Fluency in English; French bilingual capability strongly preferred.

Nice-to-Have

  • Experience supporting Shopify stores during major launches or rapid scaling periods.

  • Knowledge of headless commerce frameworks (React, Next.js, Hydrogen).

  • Familiarity with analytics, A/B testing, and performance marketing integrations.

Why Join Us

  • Take ownership of a newly built Shopify Plus store for a high-growth CPG brand.

  • Be the go-to expert ensuring the site scales with the brand’s rapid expansion.

  • Join InBeat, a leader in influencer and UGC-driven growth, while being fully embedded with a major new client.

  • Remote-first contractor role with ongoing opportunities to evolve the platform.
