A growing creative business is looking for a Social Media Marketing Assistant to support a range of marketing initiatives and administrative tasks. This role requires a highly organized and adaptable individual who can wear multiple hats, from setting up email sequences to optimizing content with AI tools and managing social media traffic. If you're tech-savvy, detail-oriented, and excited to contribute to a dynamic team, this role is for you.

Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM EST

Social Media Management – Support in creating content calendars and handling the scheduling of social media content to drive traffic.

Content Optimization – Utilize AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity to refine and enhance marketing copy for social media, landing pages, and the website.

Email Marketing – Set up and manage email sequences using email service providers (ESPs) like MailChimp.

Research & Strategy – Stay updated on digital marketing trends and recommend improvements to marketing strategies.

General Marketing Support – Help coordinate marketing campaigns, track performance, and ensure timely execution of initiatives.

Secondary Responsibilities - Nice to Have

  • Design & Editing – Assist with light social media graphics and video editing using Canva or similar tools (will be provided with raw assets).

  • Increased audience engagement and website traffic through effective social media and email marketing.

  • Well-executed marketing campaigns that align with brand messaging and objectives.

  • Efficient use of AI tools to enhance content quality and effectiveness.

  • Timely execution of email campaigns, ensuring optimal reach and engagement.

  • Smooth collaboration with the team to execute marketing initiatives seamlessly.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years in a marketing-related role, with hands-on experience in email marketing, social media management, or content creation.

  • Proficiency in MailChimp (or similar ESPs), social media scheduling tools, and AI-powered content optimization (e.g., ChatGPT).

Preferred Skills - Highly Advantageous

  • Familiarity with Canva or similar design tools for basic graphics and video editing.

  • Knowledge/familiarity with architecture, interior design, or related fields is highly advantageous but not required.

  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to multitask, manage priorities, and work efficiently in a remote setting.
