Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Duties: Execute creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems. Develop secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debug code written by others. Identify opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems. Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, and internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture. Lead communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies. Create durable, reusable software frameworks that are leveraged across teams and functions. Serve as the function's go-to subject matter expert. Advise cross-functional teams on technological matters within the domain of expertise.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Consultant/Associate, or related occupation.
Skills Required: This position requires experience with the following: Application Architecture Disciplines; J2EE; Java; Javascript; REST; AWS Cloud Services; Oracle; Automated Testing; Performance Testing; Spring; Hibernate; JPA.
