Role: Software/Data Engineer
Duration: 6+ months contract
Location: 100% remote in LATAM
Job description:
We are looking for a Software/Data Engineer with the following expertise:
Responsibilities:
1. Partner with a diverse group of professionals including Data Scientists, DevOps, and Product Managers to deliver groundbreaking solutions.
2. Enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our customer’s talent acquisition processes, making a tangible difference in connecting people with their ideal vocations
3. working on the cutting edge of technology, transforming proofs of concept into impactful, real-world applications
Required Expertise:
1. 5+ years of product development experience of consumer software and applications
2. Extensive experience with Python, Scala, Kafka, S3 and APIs
3. Experience working with cloud services like AWS, Google, Cloud Platform or Azure particularly in data storage and processing.
4. Experience in design and development of distributed systems and microservices architecture
5. Proficient in developing robust and scalable APIs
6. Strong understanding of development patterns and SOLID / DDD principles
Optional/ Nice to have:
1. Basic understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform and Helm.
2. Exposure to big data frameworks like Hadoop, Spark or Flink and ETL
