Working in a fast‑paced, high‑impact environment, this role plays a critical part in protecting the organization by proactively identifying, analyzing, and validating security vulnerabilities. You will partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to drive effective remediation, reduce risk, and strengthen our overall security posture. In addition, you will provide Tier 3 operational support by implementing new technologies and processes that expand scan coverage, enhance automation, and continuously mature the vulnerability management program—helping the organization stay ahead of evolving cyber threats.

What You Will Do:

  • Independently oversee and coordinate the vulnerability management process of identifying, analyzing, and reporting of vulnerabilities to key stakeholders.

  • Monitor and analyze external attack surface to identify, report, and lead mitigation efforts of potential security threats.

  • Lead meetings with stakeholders and provide recommendations, guidance and oversight to remediation.

  • Provide guidance, direction and support to the managed service provider in completing their duties that drive expected levels of service delivery.

  • Informally lead, guide, and support other team members in performing daily tasks that include vulnerability scanning, reporting, and remediation assistance.

  • Recommend and implement configuration improvements to the department’s technology stack.

  • Maintain and enhance operational automation workflows, while proactively identifying and delivering additional automations using Power BI and SOAR technologies.

  • Oversee the development, enhancement and documentation of processes and workflows.

Who You Are:

Required:

  • Degree/diploma in Information Systems, Information Security, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.

  • Minimum 6+ years of directly related work experience.

  • Experience with Vulnerability Management technologies (i.e. – Tenable, Qualys, Rapid7).

  • Solid understanding of the fundamentals of vulnerability management.

  • Experience in security operations, networking, deployment and data analytics.

  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, technical writing, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with global teams and facilitate meaningful conversations in a group setting.

  • Ability to work with a high level of independence.

Preferred:

  • IT security certifications (GCIH, CCSP, CISSP, SSCP, etc).

  • Knowledge of Power BI for dashboarding.

  • Familiarity with SOAR platforms for automation, APIs, Python scripting, and technology integration.

Working Conditions:

  • Standard office environment with multiple competing priorities and a rapid pace of activity.

  • Position may require occasional work-related travel, based on accountabilities.

Physical Requirements:

Include but not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Include but not limited to: Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

For Ontario, Canada only:

Base pay ranges from Minimum 100,000 CAD to Maximum 125,000 CAD based on experience, skills and capabilities.
