As a Senior Project Controls Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial and schedule integrity of large-scale, complex projects. This position demands expertise in cost control, performance analysis, and reporting, providing strategic insights that drive informed decision-making and project success.

What you will do:

  • Lead and coordinate the development of project control Plan. Develop project estimate, control budget and WBS structure.

  • Track and monitor forecast at completion, incurred cost and budget. Provide variance analysis and explanation.

  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure engagement with the project progress, changes, highlights, and issues. Communicate the status and issues with execution and construction team. This includes proactively report cost status and efficiently communicate any risk and mitigation plan

  • Develop a realistic project schedule to meet the project objectives. This includes updating schedules with actual progress and forecast remaining durations, project milestones, and completion dates

  • Implement Earned Value Management.

  • Implement change management. Initiate PCOs, Trends and AFE revisions. Support on the supplemental funding request.
     

Who you are:

  • University degree, diploma or related construction or engineering experience.

  • 6 or more years of previous related experience minimum or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Experience in construction, including solar or wind is an asset.

  • Project Management Professional designation is preferred.

  • Effective communication both verbally and in written form. This includes the ability to work well with peers, internal and external partners.

  • Computer skills using Ecosys, Oracle, Power BI and MS Word and Excel.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.

  • 10% travel.
