As a Senior Analyst, Cost Control, you will play a critical role supporting Safety and Reliability initiatives combining transactional accuracy, analytical insight, and strong collaboration to ensure purchase orders, invoices, and forecasts are managed seamlessly. You will work across multiple projects and teams, where your expertise directly enables informed decisions, operational efficiency, and financial compliance.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide technical expertise with purchase orders and change orders, including requisitions, receipts, analysis, monitoring, and invoice management.

  • Process a high volume of purchase requisitions and receipts efficiently in Oracle Financials, resolving issues collaboratively with advisors, vendors, and internal partners.

  • Analyze and reconcile financial data from multiple sources (Oracle Financials, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel), supporting monthly accruals, forecasting, and status reporting.

  • Monitor, validate, and resolve supplier invoices, ensuring proper coding, matching accuracy, and timely issue resolution while liaising with Project and Program Leads, SCM, Accounts Payable, and Finance.

  • Support project lifecycle activities, including holdback management, work order tracking, and project closeout tasks such as closing task codes and purchase orders.

  • Work concurrently across multiple projects, programs, and teams, prioritizing effectively to meet service level targets and operational timelines.

  • Contribute to and support process improvement and continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing efficiency, compliance, and overall cost control effectiveness.

What you have:

  • University Degree or Technical Diploma in Business Administration, Finance/Accounting or related fields.

  • Two to four years of directly related financial experience OR equivalent combination of formal education, certification, and experience.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage their time, approach to problems, and work priorities.

  • Ability to optimally manage and prioritize workload, flag issues, and develop working relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Experience with Oracle (Oracle Financials and Oracle Project Financial Management – accounts payable, work orders, and project accounting modules.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with focus on enhanced skills in Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, graph generation, sumifs, etc.)

  • A working understanding of Power BI and Power Pivot.

  • Effective communication, interpersonal, organizational and team skills.

  • Detail oriented, self-motivated, and highly analytical.

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment; infrequent travel.

  • Frequent changes in priority and work on multiple projects at the same time are often required.

  • Demanding deadlines requiring discipline and self-motivation.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $65,800 – $78,500 USD for US locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity. ​

  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.​
