We are Seeking a Sr Analyst, Tidal Gas Accounting to join our Tidal Energy Marketing Team! If you have accounting experience and strong problem-solving ability, this would be an ideal opportunity for you!

The Senior Analyst will be responsible for working with the Tidal Gas Accounting where you will be completing the settlement process for the Tomorrow RNG business from Openlink. On-boarding of new Tidal Marketing counterparties using the Tidal Vendor Master (TVM) application, while collaborating closely with Corporate Vendor Master to ensure timely setup and changes to banking information and other areas of marketing accounting as availability allows.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for pipeline actualization and settlement RNG transactions from Openlink

• Work with US Oil accounting team to ensure monthly settlements process is complete, including confirmation with 3rd party customers, actualizing volumes in Egistix and interfaces into Oracle Cloud are accurate

• Accountable for banking processes of Tidal including ensuring the critical payments are accurately booked in Oracle Cloud, cash is cleared, all with a focus on Customer Service as a business partner to the Tidal Finance commodity accounting teams and front office

• Processing all G&A and indirect taxes invoices in Cloud (both commodities related & corporate)

• Processing of Broker and trucking invoices for Oil accounting teams

• Journal entry uploads for Natural Gas & Power accounting teams

• Preparation and analysis for bank & account reconciliations

Who You Are:

• You possess post-secondary education in accounting or a related field

• 2 years' experience with payment processes, financial deals, and marketing

• Familiarity with Openlink, Egistix and Oracle systems; Proficiency in Excel

• Strong attention to detail; Effective interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work on process improvement projects

• Experience in RNG/Oil/Natural gas marketing is an asset
