What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems Management or equivalent experience with PostgreSQL Database.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Postgres SQL DBA. Experience with PostgreSQL security (creating users, granting/revoking access, LDAP integration, etc.) and working with community version PostgreSQL version 13 (or higher).
- 5+ years of experience with another database platform such as DB2 and SQL Server.
- 5+ years of experience with streaming and logical replication, HA, Backup and Recovery and Maintenance utilities including setup, configuration and monitoring.
- Experience investigating/troubleshooting PostgreSQL performance issues with native Postgres catalog and statistics.
- Solid knowledge of psql language.
- Strong knowledge of shell scripting language(s).
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Exposure to GCP / Google Cloud.
- Experience with Linux admin, storage admin, network admin.
- Experience with cluster management tools supporting HA PostgreSQL clusters (Patroni, etc.).
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible/Git.
