Our Team and What We’ll Accomplish Together:

Join our collaborative Individual Animal Management (IAM) team as a Senior Data Analyst and Client Solutions Specialist, where your expertise will directly impact the beef cattle production industry. Reporting to the IAM People Lead, you will be part of a group that values innovation and collaboration, transforming complex data into actionable insights that enhance cattle management and production processes. Our team is committed to improving decision-making through advanced analytics, supporting consultants and clients, and implementing thoughtful improvements that lead to more efficient and productive beef cattle operations.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate with Consultants: Provide comprehensive support services including data extraction, collection, collation, summarization, verification, analysis, and interpretation.

• Enhance Processes: Identify and implement enhancements in data collection, extraction, verification, and standard operating procedures using advanced analytics and machine learning.
• Translate Insights: Communicate data insights into actionable recommendations for various stakeholders.

• Partner with Clients: Work closely with the Data team and Individual Animal Management (IAM), Feeds & Feeding (F&F), and Performance Enhancement Products and Protocols (PEPP) clients to improve decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with client needs.

• Manage Data: Write advanced Snowflake queries for efficient data extraction and manipulation. Create engaging Tableau visualizations and reports to support ongoing projects.

• Foster Team Success: Regularly collaborate with consultants and clients, ensuring clear communication and effective teamwork on data-driven solutions.

What You Bring:

• Master’s degree in Bioinformatics, Ag Economics, Animal Science, Data Science, Epidemiology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in handling data verification, summarization, and analysis.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on ensuring accurate data summarization and consistent document formatting.
• Strong coordination and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SQL, Tableau, Snowflake, and Python.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Great-to-Haves:

• Familiarity with advanced analytics and machine learning techniques.
• Experience working within the beef cattle production sector.
• Knowledge of software development practices and data governance.
