What You’ll Be Doing 

As a Sr. Data Engineer - Azure within Wealth Management Technology, you will deliver complex Enterprise CRM projects from design to implementation and aligned to CIBC’s enterprise architecture roadmap. This role focuses on delivering application development projects, aligned to CIBC's high standards and quality of technical work.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Strategic Development & Execution: Lead all aspects of application development for large, complex, mission-critical application projects, ensuring high standards and quality of technical work. 

  • Relationship Management: Manage relationships with delivery areas partners; interface and maintain communications, monitor business and technology developments and provide on-time response and support. Proactively manage offshore vendor relationships for project resources to ensure effective utilization.

  • Strong Leadership: Be a bold and authentic leader who is passionate about developing quality application product and provide leadership for large, complex, and critical projects intended to improve and deliver the capabilities of Enterprise CRM domain.

Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate experience: 8+ years' experience designing, developing, implementing and supporting Enterprise Complex projects .Experience in languages (Python, PySpark, SparkSQL), Databases, Azure Cloud, ETL (Databricks, Azure Data Factory), Azure App Service (Function App, Web Service, API App), Tools (source control/issue management: Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins, JIRA), Application Health-check and Innovation, DevOps adoption

    Designing and implementing applications for Data Integration in Azure cloud. Experience leading the execution across multiple technologies and projects .Agile methodology and experience working in a Scrum team
