What you’ll be doing
As part of the Infrastructure Finance Team, the Project Finance Support is accountable to provide support for all finance-related activities associated with Bank projects including: planning, analysis, & reporting, business case support, project set-up & closure, develop project standards, and tracking of benefits when required. The role is responsible for managing a portfolio of projects. The Sr. Financial Analyst will provide information and analysis, make recommendations and suggest consequences of proposed actions for management consideration. This includes providing accurate plans, forecasts and management reporting for all aspects of the project. The position will work closely with portfolio project managers, internal finance groups, senior technology and business leadership teams.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.

You can demonstrate experience in and have strong knowledge of accounting and finance (ideally 3+ years experience). In addition, you have (or working towards) a CPA designation, CFA, MBA in Finance, or equivalent. It's an asset if you have experience supporting large scale projects.
