Job Description:
Must be based in Central or Eastern time zone
Under the direction of the HR Senior Manager, Employee Relations & Compliance. The Sr. HR Generalist, Employee Relations is responsible for supporting the Employee Relations functions for the organization, with a primary focus on managing employee relations related investigations to ensure timely response and resolution of employee concerns and consistent application of policy.
Role and Requirements

Develops effective relationships with Operations , HRBPs and HR Managers to support employee relations issues across the organization.

In partnership with HRBPs and HR Managers, investigate and resolve concerns received through all reporting channels (FreshService, direct contact, HR voicemail, Navex/YourVoice).

Performs timely and accurate investigations into higher level or complex employee concerns.

Completes detailed investigation summaries for review by HR Senior Manager, Employee Relations & Compliance.

Partners with HR Business Partners and the operations team to facilitate prompt and effective resolution of workplace conflict in a manner consistent with the company’s policies.

Ensures consistent interpretation of company policy and state/federal law and provides guidance to managers on employee relations issues, including those related to performance and conduct.

Accurately tracks/documents all employee relations concerns in the appropriate system.

Evaluates potential risks associated with proposed resolutions.

Regularly audits areas of legal compliance across multiple areas within HR (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits and Leave Management)

Escalates concerns with high risk or impact to HR Senior Manager, Employee Relations & Compliance.

Assists HR Senior Manager, Employee Relations & Compliance in gathering data related to defense of legal claims.

Provides HR support in mergers and acquisitions as needed.

Suggests changes to policies and processes as needed in response to Employee Relations concerns.

Creates monthly reporting on employee relations concerns.

Partners with HR Operations, Benefits and Compensation as needed to resolve employee concerns.

Experience and Skills Required

Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in lieu of education
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources

3+ years experience in conducting full cycle investigations with minimal guidance, including conducting remote and/or complex investigations and investigations in response to legal claims

Experience evaluating and interpreting information to determine compliance with standards, laws, and regulations and making recommendations on appropriate courses of action

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Google Suite.

Ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred Qualifications

Certification as a SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP as granted by SHRM, or PHR or SPHR as granted by HRCI.

Experience providing HR support in a multi-site/location environment

67,600.00 - 96,500.00 - 125,500.00 USD Salary USD plus 5% bonus
