The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Partnering with business leaders to execute the people agenda that supports business growth.
  • Supporting our M&A people function throughout the acquisition life-cycle, with special focus on the integration phase.
  • Proactively connect the dots, leveraging analytics and data to make strategic people decisions
  • Lead, execute and measure people outcomes and impact on business
  • Driving end-to-end delivery across a suite of people programs, combining strategic thinking with operational excellence
  • Well-versed in the end-to-end lifecycle of People from attracting, hiring, growing, managing, to off-boarding
  • Collaborate with COE Pod members to bring expertise to the business; engage proactively with the liaisons to spar and problem solve


Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business strategy to people strategy
  • Proven track record of executing projects and programs - hands on and can also see the big picture. Projects are generally of the following nature - org redesign, leadership bench build, organisational efficiency (shape and span), skills building/talent mobility, campus hiring, footprint
  • Ability to move quickly, juggle multiple work streams at once and solve problems across the team
  • Comfort working in complex, global environment with changing priorities and demonstrating the ability to lead change within that environment
  • Strong self-starter with a drive to create concrete and measurable impact
  • Expert ability to build relationships, earn trust, gain confidence and influence others to drive the business forward through people strategy
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders within an organization


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $186,300 - $248,400
Zone B: $167,700 - $223,600
Zone C: $154,600 - $206,200
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
