Job Description

Reporting to the Strategic Implementation Specialist, the Sr. Pricing Analyst, Windows & Doors Specialist, will support the successful implementation of a new ERP system by ensuring accurate and efficient migration, configuration, and validation of pricing data specific to window and door products. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to align pricing strategies with system capabilities, while tactically maintaining profitability and compliance with industry standards.

This role will eventually transition to report to the Pricing Manager with focus on supporting the pricing, profitability, and market intelligence for new product development and product line maintenance.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

ERP Implementation & Data Management

  • Lead the extraction, cleansing, and transformation of pricing data from legacy systems.
  • Configure and validate pricing structures (e.g., by product line, material size, region) in the ERP system.
  • Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) for pricing modules and troubleshoot discrepancies.

Industry-Specific Pricing Strategy

  • Analyze historical & competitive pricing trends for windows, doors, and custom configurations.
  • Develop strategies & implement pricing models that account for raw material costs, labour, and regional market differences, while ensuring profitability.
  • Collaborate with product managers to ensure pricing reflects product complexity and customization.

Reporting & Analysis

  • Monitor and compare pricing accuracy and margin performance.
  • Generate reports & analyze to support decision-making on discounts, promotions, and customer-specific pricing.
  • Identify and resolve pricing anomalies or inconsistencies in the ERP system.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product Management, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, Finance & IT teams to ensure pricing logic aligns with operational workflows.
  • Train internal stakeholders on pricing tools and processes within the ERP system.
  • Document pricing processes and maintain audit trails for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in pricing & margin analysis, strategy & execution, or business analytics; experience in manufacturing (physical products) or building materials s or related industry preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and comfortable working with large, complex data sets and ability to create structure from ambiguity.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally (on-site & virtually) & independently as required.
  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) and data visualization tools (Power BI, etc.)
  • Experience with ERP systems; ERP implementation experience is a strong asset.
  • Excellent organization, documentation, communication and presentation skills.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proactive, problem-solver.

Location & Work Environment

This is an on-prem role based out of our Calgary AB office, with occasional travel to other sites required during key project phases. Potential to move into a permanent position once the contract is successfully completed.
