What You'll Do:
As the Senior Product Consultant for Cox Automotive's Dealer Management System (DMS) and F&I solutions, you will be the primary technical resource for the DMS/F&I Sales Teams. You will be responsible for driving and managing the technology evaluation stage of the sales process. You are considered the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and work in conjunction with the sales professionals as key technical advisors and product advocates for the DMS and F&I product sets. You will be expected to articulate technology and product positioning to the business and the technical end users.
Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations of products & services to support the growth of Cox Automotive's DMS and F&I solutions, plus the Cox Automotive business objectives
  • Represent DMS and F&I products in a virtual environment and at trade shows such as NADA, Digital Dealer, etc.
  • Exhibit thorough knowledge of all solutions offered within the Cox Automotive ecosystem
  • Address customer technical issues, questions, and objections through creative and adaptive approaches
  • Collaborate and partner with sales teams to understand customer requirements and provide sales support
  • Act as liaison between the DMS Sales, Product, Engineering, and Implementation teams as needed
  • Document feature requests/enhancements into weekly reports to aid the direction of product development
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFPs
  • Investigate and keep informed of competitor technical specifications, product data, websites, industry standards, developments, etc. Continually develop technical knowledge of product offering
  • Identify inefficiencies occurring for prospective and existing customers resulting from utilizing non-integrated software solutions offered by competitors
  • Learn other DSS product solutions and become a product expert over time

Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 or more years of experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2+ years of experience; a Ph.D. and 1+ year of experience; or 8+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Dealer Management System (DMS) software experience or DMS sales experience


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree or certifications in a related discipline strongly desired (I.E. business, marketing, sales, etc.)
  • Influential presence with the ability to conduct online demonstrations of DMS and F&I products confidently and effectively to all levels of leadership both internally and to clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of learning and presenting new software technologies, preferably vAuto.
  • Outstanding technical skills, problem-solving, and team collaboration skills
  • Proactive with good organizational and time management skills, self-starter
  • Automotive industry and software sales experience is a plus
  • Experience with MS Office, Outlook & MS Teams, Salesforce CRM a plus

USD 86,200.00 - 129,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $86,200.00 - $129,400.00. The salary rate may vary within the anticipated range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's experience. In addition to the salary range identified herein, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive/commission target of $36,300.00.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
