PAY RANGE

The Target Pay Range for this position is $152,300.00-$186,100.00 annually. The full Pay Range is $118,200.00 - $220,200.00 annually. At BECU, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Should an offer for employment be made, we will consider individual qualifications. In addition to your salary, compensation incentives are available for the hired applicant. Incentives are performance based and targets vary by role.

Employees and their eligible family members have access to a wide array of employee benefits, such as medical, dental, vision and life insurance coverage.  Employees have access to disability and AD&D insurance.  We also offer health care and dependent care flexible spending accounts, as well as health savings accounts, to eligible employees.  Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan and employer-funded retirement plan.  Newly hired employees accrue 6.16 hours of paid time off (PTO) on a per pay period basis based on hours worked (up to a maximum of 160 PTO hours per year) and receive ten paid holidays throughout the calendar year. IMPACT YOU’LL MAKE:

As a Sr. Product Manager – Debit Administration at BECU, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our products by driving strategic vision and execution across complex business functions. You’ll take ownership of product roadmaps and lead efforts that directly impact our members’ experience. Your ability to blend research, design, and business strategy will ensure that we continuously evolve to meet member needs while contributing to BECU’s success. Through your leadership and deep product expertise, you'll drive innovation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and inspire change that leads to meaningful results.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Contribute to Product Vision: Support the vision, strategy, and roadmap for BECU’s debit card portfolio.

  • Drive Strategic Decisions: Drive decision making within the Debit Card vertical and the organization’s business strategy.

  • Track and Analyze Product Performance: You’ll define and track performance metrics, using data to measure effectiveness and continuously refine products to achieve desired business outcomes.

  • Communicate Across the Organization: Present ideas and data-driven insights to all levels of the organization, fostering understanding and alignment on product goals and direction.

  • Incorporate Insights and Refine Roadmaps: Capture feedback and lessons learned to adapt the product vision, ensuring continuous improvement and responsiveness to evolving needs.

  • Own Product Lifecycle: You’ll take full ownership of product administration throughout its lifecycle, ensuring all aspects are managed effectively and continuously evolve with market trends.

  • Build Vendor Relationships: Manage and nurture relationships with external vendors, ensuring they are aligned with our product goals and contribute to successful outcomes.

  • Collaborate Across Ecosystems: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business capabilities.

  • Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Monitor the latest trends and apply industry knowledge to keep our products relevant, competitive, and aligned with the voice of the member.

  • Understand Member Needs: Infuse member insights into your product development process, ensuring that every decision made resonates with and meets the needs of our members.

  • Share Information Across Teams: Foster a culture of transparency by effectively sharing information and knowledge across all levels of the team.

  • Provide Leadership and Mentorship: Offer guidance, support, and mentorship to team members and other stakeholders to cultivate a high-performing, collaborative culture.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in a technology, business, or related discipline required.

  • Minimum 7 years of product management, product development, product operations, or equivalent experience. 

  • Debit card management experience.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree.

  • Experience working in agile an environment.

  • Previous experience overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle.

  • Self-directed and able to proactively identify business and customer needs and opportunities, overcome barriers, influence, and formulate solutions with minimal supervision.

  • Experience in managing highly effective cross-functional teams.

  • Previous experience determining product marketing strategies based on voice of the member (customer).

  • Experience analyzing debit invoices, negotiating contracts, and pulling reports/multiple data sources to support debit analyses.

  • Experience managing and maintaining vendor relationships.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
