Your Role:

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, IT Tech Lead planning to serve as a Technical Lead, responsible for ensuring supply chain planning global applications meet business requirements and remain in a steady state throughout their lifecycle. This role requires hands-on experience with supply chain planning application such as Rapid Response.

As the Sr Specialist, IT Tech Lead planning, you will:

  • Own and manage supply chain planning and reporting applications, ensuring they are designed, operated, and maintained per business requirements.

  • Serve as the Technical specialist, gathering and analyzing business needs, defining requirements, and architecting solutions.

  • Lead system testing execution and change management in a regulated and non-regulated environment.

  • Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, defect tracking, and issue resolution in collaboration with IT and business teams.

  • Act as the primary liaison between IT, business process owners, and external vendors.

What You’ll Be Doing:

System Ownership & Governance

  • Implement solutions that align with business needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain system documentation, including functional requirements, design specifications, validation plans, and change control records.

  • Ensure systems remain in a validated state throughout their lifecycle.

Technical Solution Design

  • Gather, analyze, and document technical requirements, workflows, and process improvements.

  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to develop and deploy configurable solutions in Rapid Response and other planning/ reporting applications.

  • Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with Vantive’s Digital Transformation strategy.

Validation, Testing & Compliance

  • Develop and execute test scripts, UAT scenarios, and validation plans for new implementations and system changes.

  • Manage risk assessments, audits, and regulatory inspections related to system validation and compliance.

System Maintenance, Enhancements & Issue Resolution

  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, and maintenance, recommending enhancements as needed.

  • Manage issue triage, root cause analysis, and resolution for system defects.

  • Work closely with business process owners to ensure applications align with operational needs.

  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for system support and enhancements.

What You’ll Bring:

The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation with hands-on experience in enterprise application support, configuration, and deployment.

Key technical competencies include:

  • Programming & Scripting: Basic understanding of Java, .NET, and SQL, with the ability to analyze and troubleshoot application logic, scripts, and database queries.

  • Cloud & Infrastructure: Knowledge of AWS or Azure, including experience with deploying, configuring, and maintaining applications in a cloud environment.

  • Application Deployment & Support: Familiarity with system integrations, web services (APIs), and troubleshooting production issues.

  • Validation & Compliance: Experience working in a regulated healthcare, pharma, or life sciences environment with understanding of CSV (Computer System Validation) and GxP requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in building worksheets, dashboards and alerts in Kinaxis rapid response tool.

  • Technical knowledge of SQL, data integration concepts (APIs, batch jobs, ETL)

  • Strong knowledge of Kinaxis platform Data modeling concepts (table structures, linkages, configuration)

  • Ability to develop and execute test scripts, validation plans, and system documentation

Nice to have:

  • Certification in Kinaxis Author Level 1, Administrator Level 1 and Integration Level 1

  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or cloud-based environments.

  • Basic project management experience (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies).

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex system issues.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

At Vantive, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $88,000 to $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
