We're building a product that provides security and governance guardrails for public and private LLMs. We are looking for a talented and technically proficient Senior Systems Automation Engineer to join our team, with a strong emphasis on product deployment and firewall technologies.

Job Description

We are looking for a top-notch software automation engineer to drive our test efforts across the company. At WitnessAI product quality will be paramount as you help design and plan required tests across multiple solutions and configurations.  You will develop automated tests, and learn how to leverage artificial intelligence to build test automation faster with better understanding of  requirements.  You will build automated tests to validate system integration with desktop applications on Windows and Mac platforms using the latest tools and technologies. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automating repetitive desktop tasks, workflows, and processes across Windows, Mac and Mobile systems using tools like AutoIt, AutoHotKey, Power Automate Desktop, Python (Pywinauto or PyAutoGUI), SikuliX or similar RPA/automation tools.

Key responsibilities
  • Work closely with our engineering teams to understand business requirements

  • Create detailed and well-structured test plans based on requirements and features

  • Design and write the tests for infrastructure configurations and system integrations

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy desktop automation solutions to streamline business and IT processes.

  • Experience with task scheduling, Windows Services, or background agents.

  • Knowledge of OCR technologies, screen scraping, or image recognition techniques.

  • Understanding of basic networking and system administration.

  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction

Requirements
  • At least 4 years of experience as a QA automation or SDET

  • Experience with Linux

  • Experience in one of the following languages - Python /Javascript/ Go

  • Proficiency in scripting or programming languages such as Python, AutoIt, AutoHotKey, PowerShell, or Visual Basic.

  • Experience with AWS

  • Strong understanding of network security, including experience configuring firewalls (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet) and other security technologies.

  • Ability to learn new technologies superfast

  • A strong passion for product quality and continuous willingness to improve the product

Salary Range: 

$170,000 - $190,000
