What you can expect
As a Senior UX Writer on Zoom’s Product Design team, you’ll play a crucial role in defining and maintaining content standards across our suite of products. You’ll create and educate product and design partners on content guidelines and best practices for crafting copy. Together with a skilled team, you’ll elevate the user experience through content, ensuring interactions are intuitive, clear, and engaging.

Responsibilities

Developing clear, concise, and user-centric copy for various product touchpoints, including microcopy, UI text, onboarding flows, tutorials, and user emails.

Collaborating closely with product designers, managers, engineers, and UX researchers to understand user needs, business objectives, and technical constraints.

Assisting in defining product-specific content strategy, guidelines and patterns to unify copy across the Zoom ecosystem.

Working with designers, engineers, and product partners to craft UI copy for user flows and leverage AI tools to improve content creation and efficiency.

Owning and maintaining content style guides, advocating for their widespread adoption across the organization.

Utilizing expertise in UX Writing principles, user psychology, and design systems to drive platform-wide consistency.

Educating teams on UX writing best practices through documentation, presentations, and training.

Presenting and advocating for content strategies that enhance usability and engagement.
What we’re looking for

Possess extensive UX writing experience of about five years, crafting clear, concise, and user friendly content that enhances digital experiences.

Possess an impressive portfolio highlighting your content strategy and UX writing skills.

Be able to context switch between multiple product areas and support multiple design and product teams.

Have excellent problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.

Embrace new technologies including Zoom’s suite of products, AI tools, and design tools.

Have great communication skills and be comfortable working with stakeholders to collect and incorporate feedback.

Reside in the Pacific Standard Time zone (West Coast)
Salary Range or On Target Earnings:
Minimum:
$98 900,00
Maximum:
$228 700,00
In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed Zoom has a Total Direct Compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value.
Note: Starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience.
We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations
