  • Building elegant, robust, and reliable solutions for complex technical problems.

  • Review engineering designs and provide plans and strategies for ensuring security, performance, and testability.

  • Build reliable and easily consumed tools, frameworks, and environments for yourself and peers to build upon, leveraging internal or open source solutions to test in new ways.

  • Work collaboratively with product and release management to control risk and improve quality.

  • Write clear and detailed bug reports when things break, and work with the team to identify and validate fixes.

  • Deliver and accept feedback with grace and courtesy.

  • Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables, both individually and when leading a team.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop automated test cases, increased test coverage, reduced test time.

  • Experience in CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins, Windows Performance Analyzer or xperf

  • Experience in testing low-level system internals that lead to memory usage, contention and performance

  • Team player – demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, communicate, collaborate, and work effectively in a globally distributed team.
