We are looking for a Staff iOS Engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize the way people move around cities. We're launching our service quickly across the world, and you will be responsible for making sure our app is beautiful, easy-to-use, and can scale to millions of happy users. And the best part? This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates residing in Canada to maintain effective collaboration across teams.
What You'll Do:
Identify, define, and solve strategically essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms, leading new product initiatives, and revamping core application experiences.
Scrutinize and reason clearly about the technology and architecture choices we make. In many cases, you will be the decider of these decisions.
Lead the cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
Lead design and delivery of large-scale, cross-team projects and foundational systems.
Mentor and grow senior engineers; foster engineering excellence.
Advise Lime’s leadership team on key technology adoption and process improvements.
Contribute to shaping overall engineering culture at the company.
About You:
8+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.
Proven record of leading technical initiatives with high business impact.
Skilled at mentoring, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Familiar with mobile testing frameworks and CI/CD practices.
Android development experience. (bonus)
Passion for sustainable, people-centric urban mobility.
The salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience. Depending on the position, the total compensation package may also include discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
