The Staff Product Analyst is a strategic leader in our expanding Data Analytics team, responsible for independently leading high-impact projects that address complex business questions. As a full-stack analyst, this role combines a wide range of analytical expertise to deliver insights that guide company strategy. Partnering with Product, Engineering, and other teams, the Staff Product Analyst drives data-driven decisions across the organization, bringing technical depth, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Define KPIs and diagnostic metrics to track product health and enhance user experience
  • Surface insights to guide executive decisions and drive strategic priorities
  • Leverage advanced analytics to solve complex product questions, providing actionable recommendations
  • Serve as an analytical and technical thought partner across product, analytics, and cross-functional teams
  • Build scalable tools to streamline processes, improve collaboration, and optimize data workflows
  • Drive process improvements, establish best practices, and promote a data-driven culture

Skills & attributes

  • 6+ years of hands-on analytics experience, ideally within product analytics teams at tech companies
  • Advanced SQL skills and proficiency with Python
  • Advanced analytical expertise in causal inference, machine learning, statistics, time series, and A/B testing
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and set priorities with a variety of key stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Proven accountability and ownership, driving projects independently to successful completion with minimal guidance
  • Commitment to fostering a collaborative, enjoyable, and psychologically safe work environment

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB’s total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include: equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings. Please note, the base salary range listed below and the benefits in this paragraph are only applicable to U.S.-based candidates.

MongoDB’s base salary range for this role in the U.S. is:

$112,000$220,000 USD
