About The Role:

The Market Developer, Startups (AMER) drives Notion's growth and adoption within the startup ecosystem in the US and Canada. They'll report to the Notion for Startups Lead and collaborate closely with other regional startup teams.

This is a contractor role, with a minimum time commitment of 30 hours/week, for 6 months (with the potential to extend).

What You'll Achieve:

  • Collaborate with our global and regional teams to identify and curate lists of startups and partners eligible for the Notion for Startups program
  • Design and implement targeted marketing campaigns to showcase Notion to early-stage startups and build a strong partner network
  • Lead onboarding sessions and drive engagement for new and existing partners in the startup program
  • Deliver regular reports and actionable insights to enhance our growth initiatives

Skills You'll Need to Bring:

  • Experience in and passion for the startup ecosystem
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a GTM (business/commercial) function
  • Track record of working with startup founders, communities, VC firms, accelerators, and other ecosystem players
  • Proven expertise in partnerships, business development, and successful outbound campaigns
  • Ability to use data to identify opportunities and drive results
  • A builder mindset with bias toward action

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience as a tech startup founder or first sales/marketing/partnerships hire at an early-stage venture
  • Previous experience working with global teams
  • Power user and advocate of Notion

Notion is committed to providing highly competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The compensation offered for this role will be based on multiple factors such as location, the role’s scope and complexity, and the candidate’s experience and expertise, and may vary from the range provided below. For roles based in San Francisco and New York, the estimated hourly pay range is $47-55 per hour.
